Who We Are

The Poona District Amateur Athletic Association ( PDAAA ) Regd.No. MAH/286/PUNE-F-1394/Pune is the official body for running and managing athletics in Pune District and is affiliated to the Maharashtra Athletics Association. The Association organizes the District Level Championship and trains the athletes for Various State, National Competitions held across India by MAA & AFI. PDAAA selects the District Athletics Teams for various State & National Competitions and conducts the District & State Championships for various age categories.

Besides, the PDAAA conducts District Championships and various meets to promote the sport and popularize it among the people and make athletics commercially attractive for the further growth of the athlete and the sport. The Association also supervises and assists its Technical Officials in their activities, plans and sets up special seminars and takes initiatives for development programme and grass root promotion of athletics in Pune District.
